How to apply Progressiva
Wash your hair with a sulfate-free shampoo and rinse well. The brand pairs it with its Protect & Control shampoo.
Towel-dry or blow-dry until about 80% of the moisture is gone.
Brush the cream on strand by strand, keeping 0.5 cm (0.19 in) away from the scalp.
Leave it on for 60 minutes under a cap.
Rinse until no product is left in the hair.
Blow-dry the hair completely.
Flat iron thin sections 15 to 20 times at 356°F to 392°F (180°C to 200°C).
Before a full application, the brand asks for a strand test, and for gloves while you work.
One cream, one hour
Progressiva is the product that made Fashion Gold's name in Brazil. It is an acid-based cream in a single bottle: no powder to mix, no developer, no second step from another box. The brand lists hydrolyzed quinoa, sacha inchi oil and coconut oil in it and calls the formula formaldehyde-free.
The work is in the method. The cream stays on washed, mostly dry hair for 60 minutes, and the flat iron afterwards does the sealing: thin sections, 15 to 20 passes, 356°F to 392°F. Fashion Gold says the result is hair with less volume and frizz that feels soft and looks shiny. Buyers with fine wavy hair report a quick result. Some with resistant hair report little change.

Try it you won't regret it
I was skeptical my hair would fall out but this made my shorter thinish wavy hair stick straight n perfect. Rain? No problem. No frizz. It's been 7 weeks n still going with a little wavy after washing n drying. So easy to apply. I straighen my hair in 4 min. But 6/8 of one bottle did my shorter hair so beware n buy extra. It's worth it. I'm back for more soon.

In love with this product!I usually don't leave reviews after purchases but this one deserves it. I have a long and thin hair that gets a little fuzzy if I don't take care of it often. With my busy schedule I wanted something practical that would allow me a low maintenance hair routine. I wasn't sure if I should do chemicals in my hair because I don't like it and don't do it (my hair is all natural) but after watching a few reviews and videos it certainly got my heart. I bought it and 2 days later it arrived. The application was easy peasy, I got a salon result in less than 2 hours.I recommend and approve this hair straightener!

Positives: hair feels soft, is mirror shiny, mix easier to straighten, removed puffiness/frizziness, made my thick, coarse, frizzy hair a lot easier to maintain and style.Cons: smell isn’t great, hair kind of smells like your skin after you get out of a tanning bed, almost a burnt kind of smell. But I will say it’s MUCH more tolerable than the typical sulfur/rotten egg smell of keratin/chemical straighteners. My ends are CRISPY; unsure if this kind of fried my ends of what but my ends are very unhappy, unruly and I definitely need a trim after this. Even going over ends with a straightener didn’t smooth them, they’re still very frizzy and messy. I have a ton of flyaways on top of my head. I noticed a lot of breakage when doing this treatment, both during and after and my hair does seem kind of brittle. If you have colored / dyed hair, this will alter the color. I have dark brown dyed hair (naturally blonde) and this took some dark away and it’s kind of reddish/orangish after the treatment. Nothing detrimental but I’ll probably dye it more of a blackish-brown to get rid of the orange tint.Overall I’d repeat this again regardless of the cons above. Considering how much better the smell of this is compared to similar treatments and also was much easier to use with a lot less steps than the last treatment I did. I really appreciated the fact that I didn’t have to blow dry and straighten my hair WITH product still on it like the last treatment I did; that part was very difficult and terrible! I appreciated that I was able to rinse this product fully out of my hair before having to dry and straighten it. As other reviews say, bottle is super small and I was only able to treat my hair once with this with the amount of product given. Wish bottle was bigger for the price.
Does NOT Straighten Hair — Complete Waste of Money
Extremely disappointed with this product. I followed the instructions carefully and completed the entire treatment exactly as directed, expecting my hair to be straightened as advertised. It did not straighten my hair at all.After going through the whole process, my hair is still curly, frizzy, and difficult to manage. I spent my time and money doing this treatment for basically no result.If you’re buying this specifically because you expect a keratin straightening treatment to actually straighten your hair, I do not recommend it. Based on my experience, it simply does not do what I expected it to do. Complete waste of money. One star.
Leaves hair soft, smooth, and easy to manage
I was pleasantly surprised by how well this keratin treatment worked. After using it, my hair felt noticeably softer, smoother, and much easier to comb.It also helped reduce frizz without making my hair feel heavy or greasy. A little product goes a long way, so the bottle should last for quite a while.The scent is pleasant, and the product spreads evenly through the hair. After styling, my hair looked healthier and had a nice natural shine.Overall, I'm very happy with the results and would definitely use it again.
Frizzy and dark to straight and blond
I’m only giving 3 stars because the product completely removed my hair color. It definitely made it straighter but it also made me blonder. I applied per instructions and after the 60 min time elapsed, rinsed and dried I was a whole “new” woman to my husband. Not very help with the results since I’ll have to fix my color now.
